Haven't had a clear night in ages so headed to the dam last night. Wish there were some interesting foregrounds to use in the area.

There's a hell of a lot of dots up there! Good exposure on the foreground.

Sheesh, I'd love to get that much light from the stars.
Reckon, standing in front of the blue pagoda and having the trees as foreground, would lift the shot.

Thanks Greg and Jo. Unfortunately at this time of the year the Milky Way is very high in the sky up this way and standing between the shelter and the trees would have meant pointing the camera almost straight up which my tripod head doesn't allow. I used flash with rear curtain sync to light the shelter.
