Today's storm

A quickie I took at work just now of this storm rolling over

Makes for an interesting image. I wonder if it ever sets coal alight.? I know it starts lots of bush fires.

Dunno about coal, coal needs to be already reactive coal to ignite. I've worked at some sites that the coal was so active it would self ignite. You would be sitting in the crib room at night and look out the door and say "oh look the ROM is on fire again" lol
ROM is the coal stockpile at the wash plant ready to be washed before it goes on the train.

Usually my phone photos are very 'how's ya going' in the quality of them

Brilliant image Joe, one of your best IMHO. What were your camera settings?

That was just on my s24+
I recorded it as a slow motion video. Then after I captured the flash, I carefully scrolled through the video until I can to the flash and screen shot it. I was amazed that I got 3 forks, as at the time I only saw 1 strike.
