  • More corellas in the treetops

    G'day all

Just departed my recent campsite and now looking into recent images - here's a couple more corellas up in the trees

    1)

    Typical exif ... Panny FZ-200; 1/1600s x F4,0; EV -1; lens at 625mm [FF equiv]; ISO-320

    2)

    3) and a grab shot of one with his takeaway meal travelling with him [presuming it's a 'him']

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

#2 based purely on the lighting for me. If you could lift the shadows on #3 is would be greatly improved I think.

They are a wonderful subject Phil and you've captured some great BIF action with these. Nice work with lovely detail. Lovely exposure in #2.

One tie when we were at Port Stephens in NSW (I think its call that).
There was a mob of these at the marina.
I watched as I took photos and I am sure they must have many claims coming out of this marina.
These Corella's were chewing on all sort of things on their expensive boats.
And you could see that they were having a good time to.

Our native birds in the parrot mob all seem to like to destroy things and I am sure its about keeping their beak trimmed.
The Sulphur Crested as the ones to watch out for if you are by a tree close to them.
They can bring down quite large branches.
So keep a look out for them.
