Alice in Wonderland

I've been sitting on this one for ages. I was trying for an other worldly effect - like a girl falling asleep reading a book, who awakens to find herself transported to a slightly stranger world (reading can do that to you ). (hence the soft processing)

You may find something else - or nothing?

The title says it all.

This is quite beautiful Alan. It almost has a Jurassic Park feel - but without the scary monsters.

A magical rainforest from another time and place.

You are correct Darren - it was a snap shot - just looked interesting. Only later did I play with it and liked the effect - and then I had to think of a title for the forum. She looks more wistful than transported though...

hmm, hate to be different but i think the soft glow look is quite dated, a fad that has past. i think the look you wanted couldve been achieved with contrast, dramatic lighting and subject isolation - but as you said, its just a snap shot. feel free to ignore this lol
