  • Sooooo not a wedding photographer!

I am so not a wedding photographer. I never wanted to photograph weddings, way too much pressure to get it right on the day and I am too much of a control freak to have it all go wrong.

    However......

I was persuaded to photograph a friend's wedding. After multiple 'I am not a wedding photographer' speeches and she said she didn't want anything too formal that it was nothing elaborate, no bridesmaids, no cars etc Just a few of the civil ceremony and some group family shots.

Anyway the request was in june and today was the wedding. With bridesmaids, limousines even an aisle bouquets cakes etc etc.

I am actually impressed with how much I didn't stuff it up

for the last week it has been torrential rain right up until midnight saturday night it was bucketing down and I was even more petrified for a bleak indoor wedding.

But yesterday was blue skies and full sun.... with some cloud cover.

I'm too tired to post any setting but these are just a few I wanted to share. I didnt have much to work with in the way of surroundings as it was at a local pub.

    Feel free to nitpick.

Nothing wrong with these Kazz except for the fence heights..........always a pita in enclosed yards where they always tend to be at head height.

I don't do weddings, in fact I avoid them like the plague. Life is so much simpler when there is only one person you need to please.

these are pretty good, better then some peoples i have seen who do weddings look to be sharp, focused, lovely even lighting etc perhaps could do with a bit more warming.. but thats just my personal preference. gorgeous dresses.

Ditto.. Watch out for those fences... They are buggers sometimes..

For what its worth Im with Angel. They are clear, sharp, coloured right and might need a little more warming.. be happy with the result
