Well he may have missed out on his surfing but look what we have to take in and savour, I really love the beauty of the pastel tones in this photograph -I feel like I was also standing there and enjoying the morning. Congratulations on capturing those delicate colours GS.

what they said, well sort of as I would be cropping out the sky area and giving the rest a little more zapp effect. the sun is getting too much attention IM(uneducated)O

If it were to be cropped at all, I would have just left the sky .

sorry, the sun and sky does nothing for me at all. As soon as I opened the image I scrolled to remove it.

Thanks Ian. While the sun and sky can be overpowering, I feel the cropped versions aren't a complete picture either.

just the colours in the sky and how the overall composition leads you to the guy, even the little trail of footprints.

I would be inclined to crop just the little bit of white cloud but leave the rest of the sky in Its a great shot and like Stephen the leading lines and the footprints lead you right to the person like this
