    Hi Mark

Looks just like the professional images in the media - so well done if you've done this from home
ps- we Aussies also have / suffer from sunspots and the GPs have to cut 'em out when they become a problem

An interesting component of the soup in which we live. :
Better a full bottle in front of me
      than a full frontal lobotomy.

Thanks both. Sun activity at a high at the moment.

As you are aware, only photo the sun with very strong filters. This Dwarf 2 scope uses 100,000 ND fitters. I also use a Baader Film filter for the OMD camera and lens...

I have been going out each night but have had no luck. I have only just managed to see the milky way.

Try the day for the sun...

But you do need a proper filter..
