  • West Brisbane Wedding

As mentioned in http://www.ausph.com/showthread.php/...-Brisbane-area, I was fortunate enough to be able to work as an assistant for Em at this wedding.

These are some of the flower girls from that wedding:

    5. Arriving

This is a different B&W processing. The slight sepia tones of the earlier images did not seem to work so well in the outdoor setting. I would be interested to know if people thought this would be an issue in a set of normal wedding images? Or whether consistency of processing should be the priority for a unified overall look? Thanks.

What an opportunity. Bet you would have learnt heaps from Em.

Did you use a tilt shift lens on number 2?

I wish re the lens! And, yes, a terrific experience: I just wish I could soak up more photographic goodness at any one point of time.

The effect is from post-processing - combination of a soft-focus preset, slight vignetting, and the adjustment brush in LR (high clarity and sharpness). I suspect you could do this better in Photoshop - but I haven't used PS much. Thanks for the interest!

No need for one of those expensive lenses if you can do it in pp
But I'm sure it would be much easier to do it in the lens.

Hi Angel, thanks for the feedback. Yes, I did take a few more images...I find weddings very exciting to photograph, so I generally take quite a few (when I am not busy with my onerous assisting duties). So, one from the key players:-

Hi Scottymc - thanks for the presentation assist - appreciate it!
