A quick trip out the back of town again this morning netted me these beauties.
The first time me getting a Striated Pardalote. I could hear a new bird sound singing between 2 birds, so I started to find the source.
Climbing up an eroded sliff face towards the sound. I sat down a bit and spotted the little fella in the bush in front of me. Before I could get the camera zoned in, he was gone. I figured that he kept returning to this bush, so all I had to do was wait and be in position, ready.
5 min later, I could hear the calls getting closer as it tree hopped back my way. Sadly, he stayed deep in the bush, but I got lucky when he stayed long enough in a gap between the limbs to capture a few good photos.
